Portraiture I hear it all the time: "Oh god, I hate having my photo taken", or "I look awful in photos". But there are still those times - a 60th birthday, a 50th wedding anniversary or a new baby in the family when you want a photograph to record the event and remember something by, well it doesn't have to be a painful experience! My aim is to relax you in front of the camera, in a fun, good-humoured session, so that you feel comfortable and less self-conscious of being photographed, and together we can create some great memories! All of my portraiture takes place either at your own home or in an outdoors location of your choice. We'll talk beforehand about what you're after, likes and dislikes, when and where would be good, and what to wear, and then on the day, the session (which will usually take up to an hour) will start with a chat and a few snaps while you start to relax, we'll try a few different backdrops and styles. At the end everyone is usually very surprised at how quickly the time has gone and how much they've enjoyed it!
