Welcome to my website. I’m Jonathan and I’m a Lancaster based photographer shooting weddings, portraiture and commercial work across Lancashire and the North West region, and also Nottinghamshire and the surrounding area. This is a place for you to browse my work and find out a little about who I am and how I work.
As a Lancashire wedding photographer, I mostly shoot weddings in Lancashire, The Lake District and Yorkshire. I also have a base in Nottinghamshire and am happy to travel across the UK (and further).
I like to look for the fun and the little offbeat things, to show the love and the happiness, and the beauty. You can view my wedding photography portfolio, my portraiture, browse my commercial work brochure, or see my most recent work on the blog page. You can also check my availability or prices and peruse my latest news and offers. If you ave any questions, my FAQ page may be helpful.

“It has taken me a while to try and find the words to express how happy we are with the photos that you took for our wedding. I still can’t convey in words how delighted we are!You managed to capture the whole essense of the day from my preparations that show just how relaxed you helped me to be , with Scott and the lads thoroughly enjoying themselves and then the service and reception. We were oblivious to you being there. All our guests are delighted too and they all commented on how you just mingled amongst them and they were unaware most of the time that they were being photographed. We wanted our wedding to be about family and friends as much as ourselves and that is reflected in your work, I particularly love the shots of all the children!A huge thank you. We know nothing about clever use of lighting and lenses but it is evident that you certainly used your skills for our benefit. You are an artist Johnny Bean and a very nice man too!” ~ Kay & Scott, Aug, 2012
